Introduction
At Nomen Global, we know that true education goes beyond teachers and textbooks—it’s about real results. That’s why we’ve invested extensive research and resources into crafting a curriculum that does more than teach English; it prepares students for success in universities and professional careers. With flexible bi-weekly enrollment, tailored course objectives, and a theme-based cultural curriculum, every aspect of our program is designed to help students master English while building the skills needed for their future. Our trademarked Advanced Modular ESL Curriculum is customized for international students, offering smaller class sizes, personalized support, and a focus on real-world skills. At Nomen Global, students don’t just learn English—they gain the confidence and tools to thrive in American academic and professional environments.
Flexible Bi-Weekly Enrollment – Start When You're Ready, Learn on Your Schedule!
Our unique bi-weekly enrollment system lets you start your English-learning journey when it’s most convenient for you. With a curriculum divided into eight self-contained, two-week modules (called "blocks"), you get the flexibility to:
Start Anytime
No need to wait! Begin your intensive English program when it fits your schedule, with new class openings every two weeks.
Learn at Your Own Pace
Every student is at a different stage in their ESL journey. Our structure fosters a supportive, collaborative environment where you can grow without comparison.
Stay Visa Compliant
We tailor your learning plan to meet F-1 visa requirements, ensuring you remain in status while receiving the support you need.

Language Proficiency Scale (LPS)
The LPS is designed to assess your current English proficiency. By combining two widely recognized scales—the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL)—we’ve developed a tailored American English proficiency scale specifically for ESL students. This ensures:
Classes with students at your level
You’ll be grouped with peers who have similar English proficiency, creating an environment where learning is faster and more effective. You’ll benefit from mutual support in a comfortable, collaborative setting.
LPS Evaluation
Upon arrival at Nomen Global, you’ll take a standardized placement test to assess your current level of English. While you can choose to begin at a lower level to fill any gaps in your knowledge, we believe it's important to understand your proficiency level to tailor your learning experience effectively.

Your Learning Objectives
Each course at Nomen Global is structured with clear course objectives, which are further broken down into specific lesson goals. This ensures:
A daily focus on attainable ESL goals
In every class, you’ll understand exactly what you’re expected to learn and how each activity contributes to developing those skills.
Trackable progress
Daily self-assessments give you the opportunity to reflect on your English learning and clearly see how you're advancing toward the course goals.
Clear progress
Understanding that you're making strides toward your goals brings confidence and reassurance as you invest in your education.

Applicable Job Skills
While you focus on mastering American English, we also help you develop the top 10 skills valued by U.S. universities and employers, such as collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, interpersonal communication, listening, verbal communication, problem-solving, reading comprehension, accurate English writing and speaking, and written communication. Strengthening these skills will help you become:
World ready
being "world-ready" goes beyond simply learning another language. It represents a well-rounded development of the knowledge, skills, and qualities needed to succeed in a more interconnected world. Nomen Global subscribes to ACTFL’s World Readiness Standards.
USA Ready
Developing these skills prepares you for future education and career opportunities in the United States. Our goal is to support your success beyond mastering English by helping you understand the expectations that U.S. employers and educators will have for you.
Our Thematic Teaching Method
Each student's semester is organized around 8 distinct American cultural themes. These themes explore various topics and traditions, providing context to enhance the student's English learning. This results in:
Cultural Awareness
Understanding the culture of native English speakers will help you communicate more effectively with them.

Connected Classes
Your courses, such as Grammar, Integrated Skills, and Practical English Workshops, are designed with interconnected cultural and grammar principles to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
Stronger Community
Although students may be learning different concepts, like prepositional phrases or adjectival clauses, everyone shares the same cultural themes, fostering friendships and a strong sense of community.
Ongoing Progress
As you advance to higher levels, you’ll revisit cultural topics with new vocabulary and grammar. This approach ensures continuous growth and a deeper understanding of English.
Conclusion
We incorporate visual tools to help students understand mental concepts such as cause and effect, definitions, classifications, sequences, comparisons, and contrasts. This approach helps learners from diverse cultural backgrounds grasp new ways of thinking and communicate more clearly and persuasively with native English speakers. We focus on students who aim for more than just basic English skills—we are committed to helping you achieve your future goals and become 'world ready'!
